The Pentastar V6 engine will now serve as the base engine with Ram introducing two optional inline-six engines known as the Hurricane, delivering impressive performance ranging from 420 to 540 horsepower. The high-output variant boasts an additional 30 horsepower attributed to a slight uptick in engine speed.
Irrespective of the engine choice, all three options come paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. While the maximum towing capacity now stands at 11,580 pounds, the maximum payload remains steady at 2,300 pounds.
