Do you have a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, or Ram lease that is coming to an end? If you are in this position, and not exactly sure what comes next, Champion is here to help. What do I bring with me for the Lease Turn-in?

When the day arrives to turn in your current lease, here are some things you should have on-hand:

• A copy of your Chrysler Capital Lease Agreement
• All keys, keyless entry fobs and any other additions associated with your leased vehicle
• All vehicle documents received at time of delivery including the owner’s and maintenance manuals

What are my options when my lease ends?

When you are about ninety days from the end of your lease, it is time to seriously consider what you want to do next once that end date arrives. Our End of Lease Team, here at Champion, will go over what your choices are, explain the details, and walk you through the decision-making process if you would like. Here are your choices:

Option 1: Lease Another Vehicle

If you enjoy having like-new vehicles, and your last lease ended up working well for you, your decision may be to turn in your previous lease and sign on to a new vehicle lease, allowing you to upgrade what you currently have, or to obtain a completely different type of vehicle. When you lease again through Chrysler Capital you may be eligible for additional incentives and/or returning lessee bonus cash. Here at Champion, we can help you determine that. If you go with this option, you can start test driving and viewing various models that you are considering. Once your current lease ends, you will hopefully be ready to get into your next vehicle!

Option 2: Purchase a New Vehicle

Your next option to consider is to purchase your next vehicle, rather than lease. Leasing is a great option, but it might not be for everyone. Maybe your mileage requirements have changed. Or maybe you simply want to try something different. When you purchase a new Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram vehicle, our dealership, along with Chrysler Capital, will work with you to customize an offer that meets your individual needs. Everyone has different budgets and loan requirements, we are pleased to have flexible programs and terms to offer.

Option 3: Purchase your Leased Car

The next option is to choose to purchase your leased vehicle. Once the lease comes to an end, maybe you love your vehicle and want to hold onto it. Luckily, this is an option. Here at Champion, we are happy to answer any questions you might have about how this works. Financing is available for qualified applicants right here at the dealership.

Option 4: Turn in Your Lease

The last option is to simply turn in your leased car. Once you complete the end of lease processing with our dealership, that’s it, you are done. What will my end-of-lease expenses will be?

To avoid any unexpected expenses, it will be necessary to schedule a pre-inspection to determine wear and use on your vehicle. Pre-inspections help you eliminate any surprises on your final bill. Champion will work around your schedule to make sure we are able to provide a free assessment of your leased vehicle’s wear.
